Our team of intrepid adventurers made it up Ben Nevis at the weekend despite the wind and snow. Ouch. All in aid of The Wellington Appeal, which is raising money for the JDRF and British Red Cross. You can make a donation for Charlie’s efforts here.

In summary the epic adventure progressed in the following way:

• 50 mph winds
• sleet, hail, and snow ascending
• Awful going up
• Many jelly babies
• Foot of snow at summit
• Very nice slow gin
• Worse going down
• More jelly babies
• Guinness at foot of BN - things improving
• No hot water at hotel - thank you Fort William

Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundrasing efforts so far, it is greately appreciated.  We are already planning next years crazy adventure.  We must be mad.
